Am I Struggling with Drug Use?
Drug use can sometimes develop into patterns that feel difficult to manage or control. This questionnaire is designed to help you reflect on your relationship with drugs.
Please answer Yes or No to the following:
- Do you use drugs more often or in larger amounts than intended?
- Have you tried to stop or reduce your drug use but been unable to do so?
- Do you spend a significant amount of time thinking about or obtaining drugs?
- Do you use drugs to cope with stress, anxiety or emotional distress?
- Have you continued using despite the negative consequences?
- Has your drug use affected your relationships, work or responsibilities?
- Do you use drugs in risky situations?
- Have you developed a tolerance (needing more to achieve the same effect)?
- Have you experienced withdrawal symptoms when stopping use?
- Do you feel guilty, ashamed or regretful about your drug use?
- Do you hide or minimise your drug use from others?
- Have you neglected important areas of your life because of drug use?
